What I did on the project
Early on we decided to attempt at making a VR multiplayer game, and together we discussed a number of ideas and eventually ended up going with a clash of the racing and VR FPS genres. It was important to enable discussion between the two players, and by having one player drive and the other player shoot they had to communicate with each other to play. I was happy to see a lot of people enjoying it.
I made the shooting system using motion controller input, and I implemented an adjustable auto-aim system. I also handled the spawning of the enemies and helped my team mate with the AI of the animals.
